As from September 2013 Gateacre School will be using ParentPay for school meals, trips etc which is a secure online payment system. Parents who need to continue making payments by cash may do so using PayPoint at local convenience stores. Lab in a Lorry!
Over the two days over 150 pupils Key Stage 3 pupils got the opportunity to participate in the "Lab in a Lorry" project which is organised by the Institute of Physics. More

Lighting Up Liverpool ONE
Year 9 art students recently took part in a lantern workshop with the Lantern Company, creating snowflake lanterns for the Christmas launch parade at Liverpool ONE. More
"Light up a life" Tree
Gateacre School recently enlisted the help of its local primary schools to help create decorations for the Zoë's Place Christmas Tree inside Belle Vale shopping centre. More
Year 8 and 9 were treated to a performance of "Terriers" from Merseyside Police. The show is a hard hitting look at the realities of gangs and gun crime and how making bad decisions can have an impact on your life. More
Blood Bros Workshop - "Tell me its not true"
Year 11 and 12 Drama students were treated to a visit from Danny Taylor this week - a star of 'Blood Brothers' which has recently been playing at the Liverpool Empire Theatre. More
